Cache Creek Regional Park
Cache Creek Regional Park is divided into three areas, the Upper Park Site, Middle Campground Park Site, and the Lower Park Site. It is located in the gorgeous setting of Cache Creek canyon area, with peaks that are higher than 2,200 feet in elevation and Cache Creek at approximately 500 feet in elevation.
A variety of activities are offered in the park such as white water rafting, hiking, kayaking, fishing, and nature walks. As the area still boasts a sense of rurality, there is no potable water available and cell service is typically hard to come by within the canyon parks. In exchange for lacking city essentials, Cache Creek Regional Park provides over 600 acres of natural wilderness consisting primarily of oak woodlands, pines, grassland meadows with cottonwoods, rushes, sedges, and similar riparian habitat at creek edges.
Parking is available for a fee with educational environmental kiosk panels, as well as a restroom to prepare you for a good hike. Plan your visit accordingly and enjoy the beauty of Cache Creek safely.
Camping season runs from April 1 through October 10. Campgrounds close on Mondays at 12pm and reopen on Wednesdays at 2pm. Reservations are required and can be made here.
